Given how popular Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines is and the numerous mods for it that exist, this page covers characters who are introduced as part of mods, or who have additional characterization as of mods. As a rule, any additional characterization on characters in game should not be taken as canon. Pc pro cleaner license key.

A Lasombra vampire in service to the Sabbat, performing rituals underneath the Downtown Library. While not part of the original game, he and his quest are included in some fan mods.
  • All There in the Manual: He could be a member of Angellis Ater or Azaneali, considering the area you fight him.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: In contrast to lesser Sabbat minions, the Lasombra is dressed quite nicely.
  • 'Get Back Here!' Boss: Indulges in Teleport Spam throughout the fight, peppering you with SMG fire before retreating when you get close.
  • Human Sacrifice: Presumably performed these underneath the library, and nearly killed Beckett's associate as part of a ritual before the player intervenes.
  • No Name Given: He's only ever referred to as 'the Lasombra'.
  • Teleport Spam: As a Lasombra, he has the ability to teleport short distances.

The Player Character
The main protagonist of the game. Within the Final Nights Mod, it's possible for the Player Character to be one of the new Clans/Bloodlines added in. The Clans/Bloodlines introduced include Osebo, Ishtarri, Salubri, Assamite Visier, Samedi, Baali and Warrior Setite.
  • Always Chaotic Evil: Played with and can be subverted. The Baali's weakness is that their Humanity is capped at Humanity 7, but there's nothing keeping a player from trying to keep it up anyhow.
  • Aura Vision: The Auspex Discipline, used by the Salubri, Assamite Visiers, and Osebo.
  • Badass Bookworm: The Assamite Visier, who are just as capable fighters as the main clan, but are more scholarly focused. This is both a blessing and a curse, as they get so absorbed into what they specialize in that they don't track things outside of it.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Though noted for the PC character already, The Final Nights introduces plenty of creepier powers. These include Thanatosis, which specializes in rotting and decaying flesh, Quietus which specializes in assassination and stealing blood, and finally Daimonion, the discipline that specializes in getting demonic powers.
  • Beast Man: The Serpentis 4 power, Apep's Semblance, turns the character into a humanoid snake monster.
  • Bloody Murder: The Quietus Discipline, wielded by the Assamites.
  • Canon Foreigner: The Osebo and Ishtarri Bloodlines are actually offshoots of the Brujah and Toreador Clans introduced by the Kindred of the Ebony Kingdom Supplement. The Assamite Visier and Warrior Setite are also offshoots of their main clans as well, but still fully affiliated with them.
  • Charm Person: The Presence Discipline, used by the Baali, Followers of Set, and Ishtarri.
  • Deal with the Devil: The Daimonion Discipline, wielded by the Baali, grants demonic powers and traits, such as getting more blood from prostitutes and bums, Playing with Fire, or even instantly killing people by having them dragged to hell.
  • False Flag Operation: The Baali PC can recieve a book in their mail, giving them the idea to infiltrate the Tremere Chantry not only to protect themselves but to survive. This mainly gives the option of the Tremere Chantry to a Baali PC.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: The Osebo have a similar weakness to Frenzy as the Brujah do, and they can also fall into it if they see scenes of violence (as in people beating each other up).
  • Healing Hands: The Salubri have the option to heal certain injured people in dialogue, and of course can use this on themselves through their Obeah Discipline.
  • Hypnotic Eyes: The Serpentis 1 power, Eyes of the Asp, basically works just like Dominate. In fact, Serpentis can be used like Dominate in dialogue in the Final Nights, given that Dominate is not a usable discipline in game.
  • Invisibility: The Obfuscate Discipline, used by the Samedi and Baali.
  • Lightning Bruiser: The Celerity Discipline, used by the Assamite Visiers, Osebo and Ishtarri.
  • Make Them Rot: The Thanatosis Discipline of the Samedi Clan deals with rates of decomposition in others. They use it in game to remove dots of Attributes or Soak from their targets and transfer it to themselves, but the highest power outright rots away the target completely!
  • Our Zombies Are Different: The Samedi Curse is that they appear like Zombies, and incur Masquerade Violations faster than the vanilla Nosferatu. Better save up for Obfuscate 4!
  • Super Strength: The Potence Discipline, used by the Osebo and Followers of Set.
  • Super Toughness: The Fortitude Discipline, used by the Samedi, Salubri and Ishtarri.
  • Tattoo as Character Type: The Setite P Cs will sport some rocking tattoos, namely egyptian themed with hieroglyphs and snake imagery. The Salubri P Cs will have asian and peace inspired tattoos.
  • Third Eye: The Salubri models have a visible crack on their foreheads, which represents their third eye when closed.
  • Vegetarian Vampire: The Salubri weakness is that they do not gain as much nourishment from human blood in general, recieving at least one point less at all feedings.
  • Video Game Caring Potential: As a Salubri, it's possible to use your powers to heal Heather, Mercurio and Hannah Glazer of their afflictions, allowing them to live without need of vampire vitae and/or subverting their deaths by letting them live.
  • Weakened by the Light: Given their dislike for light sources, the Setites take a general -1 to all soak feats.
During the course of The Final Nights Mod, a character may sooner or later violate the Masquerade, to which if they check their emails, they will find someone calling them out for this and to meet at the Tattoo parlor to talk about it. In comes Silvia Black, a female who offers you the ability to wipe away masquerade violations by paying her and her mysterious backer. Of course, the price is steep..
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Towards the person she works for and why she's willing to set aside her own hatred of vampires to help the PC. It's implied by the Word of God to be a Salubri Vampire.
  • Eye Scream: One of her eyes looks like it's full on zombified.
  • Fantastic Slurs: Her emails will always incorporate your Clan/Bloodline's nickname, which would also be incredibly worrisome for someone like an actual Baali or Salubri, both of which are equally hated.
  • Mysterious Backer: She apparently works for someone who is a vampire, but who she claims 'isn't as corrupt as the others'.
An Assamite Visier who is visiting Los Angeles, he can be found in the Empire Arms Hotel parking lot. He is interested in getting books, especially rare ones people cannot normally get. He also provides the information of the Clans and Bloodlines introduced in The Final Nights, and he also appears in The Camarilla Edition as well.
  • Mr. Exposition: He is this for the Clans and Bloodlines introduced in The Final Nights.

The Player Character
The main protagonist of the game. With the Companion Mod, they can gather certain NPCs to travel with them, some willing and some.. not.
  • Bodyguard Babes: Most potential companions are female, and some have good combat rating.
  • Kick the Dog: The ways of getting unwilling companions would definitely cause major Humanity loss if the mod worked like the tabletop game.
    • Most human companions need to be Mind Raped with disciplines before they'll travel with you.
    • To gain Kindred companions (or human companions when you play as a clan with no social disciplines) you have to trick or force them to drink from the Animus Constupro, a Tzimisce creation which destroys their mind and replaces it with absolute loyalty to you.
  • More Than Mind Control: Heather and Yukie don't require disciplines or the Animus Constupro to travel with you. However, the Blood Bond on Heather already makes her slavishly devoted to you, and Yukie can be convinced to forego her plans of returning to Japan and stay with you forever.
  • This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: If your character doesn't have the stats or disciplines you need, possessing companions who do have those skills will allow you to bypass the need for more experience points.
  • Too Dumb to Live: As LaCroix only gave you permission to sire one childe, you'll get your head cut off by the Sheriff if you Embrace both Heather and Yukie. However, once you reach the endgame, Camarilla rules don't apply to you anymore, so siring both is fair game.
  • Unusually Uninteresting Sight: The player character probably wouldn't get very far if most Kindred NPCs were capable of noticing and reacting to how they've surrounded themselves with companions.
The player character's ghoul. With the Companion Mod, she can travel with you, serving as extra muscle, extra inventory space, a convenient source of blood, and can even be Embraced once LaCroix gives you permission after the Giovanni quest.
  • Brains and Brawn: The brains to Yukie's brawn, as Heather has higher stats in intelligence, academics, finance, and computers, but almost nothing related to combat.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: You can keep her in your Haven until she gives you the body armor, then take her along with you for the rest of the game, bypassing her scripted death without abandoning her.
A Japanese demon huntress met in Chinatown. With the Companion Mod, she can travel with you after you complete her quest, serving as extra muscle, extra inventory space, a convenient source of blood, and can even be Embraced once LaCroix gives you permission after the Giovanni quest.
  • And Then What?: Goes through an almost silent version of this as she travels with you. No living relatives, a recently murdered master, going all the way to America for revenge, and the implied Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training, Yukie is left with no purpose other than cutting down demons until she herself dies.
  • Brains and Brawn: The brawn to Heather's brains. Yukie's physical stats are much higher, but her other stats are woefully lacking.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: Already a skilled huntress, you can Embrace her, giving her Kindred powers on top of that.
  • Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training: If you look at her character sheet, you'll see that her finance, academics, and computer stats are all at zero.

The Player Character

The main protagonist of the game. With the Clan Quest Mod, they get the option of doing Clan exclusive quests from elder Kindred of the same Clan as them.. and also joining the ranks of the Sabbat.
  • Cannibalism Superpower: As of the latest Clan Quest Mod, after joining the Sabbat, one may now diablerize certain NPCs when given the chance. This has a chance of giving you a new discipline, skill or attribute the diablerized had. It also has a chance of giving you nothing, assuming none of your abilities will improve by being brought to their level, meaning that you can easily permanently damage your soul for no real reward.
  • Defector from Decadence: Inverted. You can become a defector to decadence by joining the Sabbat!
  • Freudian Excuse: The Fledgeling has one for why they can join the Sabbat when Andrei offers. Because LaCroix has been using them all game, and they get kicked around by everyone above them. Not that the Sabbat is much better. As Jack says..
Jack: They've got a longer leash, but are slaves all the same.
  • Gratuitous Spanish: The Malkavian PC will have one instance of Spanish if you speak to Ariana. Ironically, they speak it perfectly and is perhaps their only non-twisted line in the game.
Ariana: Uh, hola? Que haces en mi apartmento?' Translation
Malkavian Fledgeling: No hay problema, pero habla Ingles? Por ellos. Translation
  • In Spite of a Nail: Despite the Camarilla storyline going Off the Rails by the player joining the Sabbat, they'll still have to go to Chinatown to rescue Barabus from the Kuei-Jin, only this time it will be a quest from the Mack.
  • Manchurian Agent: Courtesy of LaCroix, you were made into one should you side with the Sabbat.
  • My Species Doth Protest Too Much: As per the vanilla PC, but now you can join the Sabbat and their Antitribu ranks. This is especially poignant for a Tremere Fledgeling, given the rarity of Tremere Antitribu and how hated they are by both the Tzimisce and their hierarchical Clan.
  • Off the Rails: Joining the Sabbat can be this. You derail the Camarilla and Anarch's paths, making you incapable of joining them. Furthermore, managing to keep the Sarcophagus closed allows the Sabbat free reign over the city, with the Camarilla AND Anarchs fully decimated, and completely ruining Jack's plans with the sarcophagus.
  • Take a Third Option: The Clan Quest mod provides many ways for the Fledgling to do this.
    • They can now join the Sabbat and roam the new East LA hub to join a pack.
    • The Malkavian Clan Quest allows a player to persuade Mitnick to put up a firewall to make the servers appear down, then proceed to bring them back up when the Prince's rage is quenched.
  • Video Game Cruelty Potential: There is some new quests where the Fledgeling can aid a gang as 'repayment' for making the deal with the Tongs go south. This includes killing an attorney, discreetly killing a record producer who wouldn't let some guy's mixtape be used, and killing a senator cracking down on gang violence. You can now indulge in diablerie post-joining the Sabbat, and see the terror and anger in your would-be victims.

The Camarilla

The Prince of Los Angeles. He provides the Clan Quest for Ventrue players, and who also has an expanded role within the Sabbat extension.
  • Been There, Shaped History: In one of the worst ways possible. The Toreador Clan Quest has you meet Jane, who notes that LaCroix has the distinct honor of almost singlehandedly causing the Great Depression.
  • Compelling Voice: Dominate. The CQM plays the particle physics whenever he does use it. He also uses it much more than you realize.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: In the Malkavian Clan Quest, in response to the unleashed virus by Tung, he wants the Fledgeling to destroy the Nosferatu Servers and anyone who gets in their way of that.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Up to Eleven. His meeting after you get the Sarcophagus for Andrei is him rubbing the fact that he's dominated you from the start in your face, forcing you to kneel, shut up and tell him where the sarcophagus is, and finally having the Sheriff push you out a 30+ story high window to your doom. Or so it would seem..
  • Just for Pun: He has the Sheriff 'See you out' after meeting him after The Reveal that the Fledgeling was made into a sleeper agent for LaCroix if you joined the Sabbat at King's Way. The Sheriff makes you leave..from at least 30+ stories up and onto the pavement below.
  • Karmic Death: If you've joined the Sabbat, they and you give him the ultimate form of this. LaCroix, who has stood atop of Los Angeles, looking down on everyone else, tying the Fledgeling to their commands and binding them with Dominate, who has made it so the fledgeling can't do anything about it..is killed by being bound to the top of his building's uppermost spire, left to face the sunrise with nothing he can do about it.
  • Kick the Dog: Quite literally. He's got Jesse under his thumb and has been presumably treating him just as bad as the Fledgeling if Jesse's words are anything to go by.
    • The fact that he sends you into Sabbat territory, despite the Fledgeling's protests that they will have it out for him given the Warehouse job. Despite the fact that he's basically responsible for the fact that they know the Fledgeling did it in the first place!
    • He expresses that having an affinity for You Have Outlived Your Usefulness is a good notion to have in the Ventrue Clan Quest, if you took Lorenzo's suggestion to kill Adithia.
    • His entire confrontation when you enter his office after giving Andrei the sarcophagus is this. Did you really think you could join the Sabbat and be free from LaCroix? Hahahaha..no. You were dominated from the get go, he's forcing you to give him all the information and then kill you once you're no longer useful.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Compared to the vanilla game, he gets more scenes to showcase his prowess. If you joined the Sabbat, after giving the Sarcophagus to Andrei and trying to leave LA or get a war party going, you find yourself in LaCroix's office. He proceeds to laugh as he points out you were a sleeper agent from the get go and been manipulated by dominate, and uses it to force you to tell him where the sarcophagus and key is.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: His Clan Quest involves him asking you to kill Skelter, while sending an Assamite Antitribu to aid you in the deed.
The famed Wizard King. He provides the Clan Quest for Tremere players.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Given how he's Affably Evil in the vanilla game, the Clan Quest Mod adds in some reminders that he is an elder in the Clan Tremere.
    • He gives the Tremere Clan Quest, in which he simply wants the method behind the Malkavian's madness. He suggests Diablerie as a last resort, which the Twins immediately know when you next visit them.
    • Andrei denotes that he recalls Maximillian ripping apart his Childer, and that he was involved in making Gargoyles, earning his ire.
  • Bloody Murder: He does have Thaumaturgy, and he uses it to it's fullest potential if you fight him.
  • Boss Rush: The Sabbat ending fight at the Chantry is essentially one, where you fight against loads of vampires, named and unnamed, in a pitch black void which eventually ends with a fight against Strauss himself.
  • Flunky Boss: In the Brujah Clan Quest if you get caught and decide to fight him, he'll summon up blood guardians like the one you fought in Santa Monica. Same in the Sabbat fight.
  • Reason Why You Suck Speech: Gives one to you as you fight the hordes of vampires sent after you. And he also gives a spectacular version if you happen to be Tremere.
  • The Battle Didn't Count: If you played through the Brujah Clan Quest and killed him, join Sabbat and face him again, you can ask how he's not dead. He denotes that he's much stronger than he looks, and thought it best to make the Fledgeling think he was dead so they'd leave.
The Voice in the Darkness. The one you must kill if you wish to join the Sabbat at 309 King's Way.
  • Permanently Missable Content: If you decide to join the Sabbat and go through with beating up Gary, you won't be able to do Imalia or Mitnick's quests because Gary is pissed at you. Furthermore, you won't be able to rejoin the Camarilla or Anarchs at any point afterwards, and thus miss out on the Camarilla and Anarch side of quests.
  • 'Reason You Suck' Speech: Gives two, one if you do decide to fight him and a second if you fight and win against him.
    • If you decide to take him on, he notes how manipulative the Tzimisce can be, and when it seems you'll REALLY take him on despite that, he'll say all you were ever good for was keeping your head down and going 'Yes sir'.
    • After beating him and he flees, he makes it clear that you WILL be known as a traitor to the Camarilla by the end of the night.
  • Teleport Spam: Though he's technically using Obfuscate, it achieves the same effect as if he were appearing from different places at the same time.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: After you get his health down to half, Gary disappears one more time to flee from you. Appropriately, he never reappears in the story after this point.
The Nasty Dude. He provides the Clan Quest for Nosferatu players and is the target of the Malkavian Clan Quest.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines Classes Free

  • Back Stab: If Therese or Tourette are the only survivors in the Malkavian Clan Quest, they kill him by a katana through the heart.
  • Badass Bookworm: He is one of the Nosferatu, and if you've joined the Sabbat, you fight him as a boss in which he gets to show off his prowess with Potence.
  • Break the Haughty: His quest involves basically exposing Velvet's dirtysecrets in retaliation for her not owning up to her end of the bargain with the Nosferatu.
  • Death by Sex: If Jeanette is the sole survivor in the Clan Quest Mod when you do the Malkavian Clan Quest, he tries to initiate cunnilingus on her..only to somehow burst into flames and die.
  • Knowledge Broker: Shows off the darker side of Nosferatu jobs, namely getting the dirty info on others and putting it to use against them as revenge.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: In the Malkavian Clan Quest, Jeanette and/or Therese want him dead because he's not playing by their rules or desired anymore. Bonus points in that they do the deed themselves.
  • What an Idiot!: Calls you out on this if you joined with the Sabbat and how you've dug your own grave.

The Anarchs

The Damsel in Distress. She offers the Clan Quest for Brujah players.Masquerade
  • Appeal to Worse Problems: Played with. She constantly brings up on how she and other people have done more for the cause and that the Brujah Fledgeling has no space to complain. You can point out the bullshit in this.
  • Defector from Decadence: Inverted. You can persuade her to defect to the Sabbat by using her hatred of the Camarilla and the Anarch's forced team-up with them just to protect the Sarcophagus's Key.
  • Fantastic Racism: When she implies that it's time for the Camarilla to be torn a new one, the Brujah Fledgeling takes it to mean taking down LaCroix. When saying they wouldn't go toe to toe with the Sheriff, Damsel says 'I thought I was talking to a Brujah, not some skulking Sewer Rat!'. 'Sewer rat' is a Fantastic Slur for the Nosferatu.
  • Hypocrite: She calls you out for being afraid of taking on The Sheriff or Maximillian Strauss, and yet proceeds to practically piss herself if you've killed (not really) Strauss in the conflict.
    • If you tell her that if she loves the clan's glory so much that she could do it herself, Damsel says she's already done her part for the cause..despite at best being a Granola Girl by Skelter's standards and at bare minimum having aided in killing one Plaguebearer, whereas you've killed three on your own.
    • She also showcases some Fantastic Racism against Nosferatu for being 'skulking sewer rats'..and yet when giving advice at how to break into the Tremere Chantry, she suggests taking the same methods as the Nosferatu would via 'Sneaking in when they're not looking'.
  • You Are a Credit to Your Race: Inverted. If you show a distaste for going against the Camarilla in the Brujah Clan Quest, she will say you basically don't deserve to call yourself a Brujah as they were part of the revolutionaries for starting plenty of things. Such as the start of the USA, USSR, The Camarilla, Sabbat, Anarchs, etc, etc.
The Daughters of Janus. They provide the Clan Quest for Malkavian Players, and are the target of the Tremere Clan Quest.
  • A Party, Also Known as an Orgy: In the 'Dance of the Thrashing Dragon' Quest, if Jeanette or Tourette is still alive and you make it up to the Asylum, she'll want to join in on your night of fun and debauchery, essentially leading up to a huge 5-way!
  • Extreme Omnisexual: Seducing Jeanette in either her or Tourette's Diablerie can result in her liking the idea that she's basically inside of you and you're both able to touch each other all over.
  • Infectious Insanity: They decide to give the Tremere Fledgeling a good dose of Dementation in their Clan Quest.
  • Inferred Survival: Though given the okay to diablerize the Twins, after going through the dream world brought on by Dementation, if a Tremere Fledgeling goes back to the Asylum, the Twins aren't there anymore. Subverted if you later go through the Dance of the Thrashing Dragon, as Jeanette will still pop up to ask if she could join the fun.
    • Word of God says they're still alive, albeit in hiding.
  • Manipulative Bitch: The Twins showcase their prowess in the Malkavian Clan Quest, namely by killing Bertram and unleashing his virus on Camarilla servers, earning the Prince's wrath on the Nosferatu, but also gaining his favor by sending the Fledgeling to take down their servers. In the end, they get what they wanted.
  • The Paranoiac: Therese's megalomania and paranoia reaches an all-time high in the Malkavian Clan Quest if she's the sole survivor, deciding that Tung is plotting against her and deciding to end him for once and for all.
  • We Can Rule Together: Persauding Therese in either her or Tourette's diablerie can result in her liking the idea of being a Bishop in the Sabbat, and wants in so long as she gets a share of the power too.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: They both call out the Tremere Fledgeling in the Tremere Clan Quest, being well aware of Strauss' request to learn the method behind Malkavians madness (and the entailment of diablerie if they don't get the answers they want). Which leads to a good dose of Infectious Insanity.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: They certainly feel this way about Bertram in their Clan Quest. They do the deed themselves once you're adequately prepared.
The Blood Baron. He provides the Clan Quest for Toreador players. He can also be Diablerized if you join the Sabbat.
  • Despair Event Horizon: If you Diablerized Ash and VV beforehand, then diablerize him and have good enough Intimidation, you can essentially break him down to be fully compliant to you as you've fully taken away everything of value to him: his childer's souls and his own.
  • Documentary: Being in the film business, he wants to make a simple documentary in his Clan Quest. Namely, one documenting LaCroix and his failures as a vampire and Prince.
  • The Gunslinger: He can teach how to use firearms upon completion of his quest.
  • Ignore The Fanservice: Trying to seduce him as a female when you've Diablerized him won't work.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: His request to get a documentary leads you to Jane, who is willing to give the information but only if you make the Asp Hole look like a place nobody wants to go to.
The Doll. If you think that her real name is all that she's hiding, then you haven't got the slightest idea what she is..that is, she is the target of the Nosferatu Clan Quest. Can also be Diablerized if you joined the Sabbat, but only if you join Hazel's side for a reason you'll see on the Killed Offscreen trope.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: As beautiful as she is, she begs for you to let her die instead of being diablerized. You can of course decide to diablerize her anyways.
  • The Chew Toy: From having all her humiliating and politically damning dirty laundry dug up in the Nosferatu Clan Quest, to potentially being diablerized by someone she trusted and might've even had a crush on, to being Killed Offscreen in one major story branch of the new Sabbat-themed content, if something's happening to poor V.V. in the Clan Quest mod, it's probably bad.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: When meeting her Sire in the Nosferatu Clan Quest, he clearly delights in the way she was a 'Filthy, fluid covered beast before she left the Sabbat' and how he enjoys making women into the 'broken bleeding pulsating core of humanity' they truly are. Little wonder why she is the way she is now..
  • Defector from Decadence: As the Nosferatu Clan Quest reveals, she was once in the Sabbat.
  • Driven to Madness: If you use Dementation on her when diablerizing her, you can make her get lost in the madness to subsume her.
Malkavian Fledgeling: Your heart's bleeding, don't let that medium go to waste. Let's you and us paint the world in red.
  • Fanservice: If you complete her quests while staying on her good side, she gives you a sexy dance, then, implicitly, asks you to have sex with her, before a fade to black.
  • Fantastic Racism: Played with. In the Nosferatu Clan Quest, Bertram recounts how she told him to his face 'when did rats stop being good enough for you' when not allowing Nosferatu into her club, even though she made a deal with them to put Vesuvius on the map. Needless to say, it was a terrible choice of words.
  • Hypocrite: When you diablerize her and try to persuade her to merge into your soul because of your collective social prowess, she declares that she hasn't said or done anything to hurt anyone..despite the fact that she was willing to send you off to kill Chastity and/or Julius.
  • Killed Offscreen: Arturo diablerizes her if you side with Victoria, making diablerizing her impossible unless you joined with Hazel Tomes.
  • Love Martyr: If you've stayed on her good side when you've diablerized her, and you have good seduction, you can convince her you diablerized her out of love. She will reciprocate it and allow herself to be subsumed.
  • Too Dumb to Live: She made a simple deal with the Nosferatu. They make her club big by advertisement, and she gives them blood dolls to feed on. She stopped letting them feed from her Blood Dolls. Apparently she hasn't considered the full ramifications of pissing off the ugly clan of vampires who are good at sneaking about and gathering information, who tend to hate your clan for their beauty alone.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Has a spectacular one if you diablerize her as a Nosferatu Fledging. She freaks out so badly at how ugly she now is that she gets subsumed into you almost immediately.

The Sabbat

The Archibishop of Los Angeles. When you enter his domain and speak to him the first time, he gives you the option to join the Sabbat, which results in you having to relocate to East Los Angeles. If you refuse, you get another chance to do the Sabbat related quests when LaCroix orders you to infiltrate them.
  • Affably Evil: Played with. He seems to treat the Fledgling kindly while within the Sabbat, and is willing to overlook failures or previous offenses against him if the Fledgeling has done things to outweigh the failure or rectify the previous offenses. He also gleefully teaches the Fledgling the ways of the Sabbat, as well as of it's clans and cultures.
    • He is willing to overlook that the Fledgeling has failed to kill Gary by bringing him information on the Sarcophagus's whereabouts.
  • Ambition Is Evil: He speaks of this, namely that the idea of unleashing the Antediluvian is a terrible idea. He does become overcome with his own ambitions, going from 'Destroy the sarcophagus' to 'keep it safe to confirm which antediluvian we destroy' to 'Diablerize the Antediluvian'. You can talk him out of it though.
  • Berserk Button: The Tremere and Strauss in general. The Tremere bit is obvious, but he outright hates Strauss because Andrei witnessed him turning his childer into Gargoyles.
  • Dull Surprise: If you fail to persuade him not to open the Sarcophagus, when he opens it, he sees the bomb and lets out a short 'Oh..' before the explosion.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Andrei may be your typical Tzimisce, using Body Horror on those he sees unworthy or nobody would miss, but even he curses the inhumanity Strauss and the Tremere went through to obtain their powers and satisfy their curiosities. Especially in how they create Gargoyles from Gangrel, Nosferatu and Tzimisce vampires.
  • If You're So Evil, Eat This Kitten: In order to join the Sabbat, he gives you a simple request: 'Kill Gary Golden and the Nosferatu'. It gets subverted in that you're able to get Gary down to half health, but you do fight him and are able to bring him a laptop with information to the Sarcophagus's whereabouts, allowing you to still get into the Sabbat.
  • Jerkass Realization: If you manage to have good enough Relationship Values with him, you can talk him out of wanting to diablerize whoever is within the Sarcophagus by citing how he's taught you the Antediluvians should be purged no matter what. He realizes this and proceeds to burn the thing in an incinerator.
  • Might Makes Right: Enforced in the Sabbat with a special rite known as Monomacy. If you're with Victoria's pack and talk to her enough to learn about it, you can declare this on him as he makes his desire to diablerize the ancient within the Sarcophagus known. What ensues is essentially a Harder Than Hard fight to the death.
  • Motive Decay: As you continue on the Sabbat side of things, he seems to go from wanting to destroy the sarcophagus to wanting to safekeep it, to see which antediluvian is inside it. He eventually gets overcome by his own ambitions in wanting to diablerize the Antediluvian within.
  • Mr. Exposition: For the Sabbat's philosophies, and for describing the Lasombra, Tzimisce, and Antitribu Clans.
  • Pet the Dog: He gives you a chance to join the Sabbat. What makes it a dog petting moment is that he offers this to the Tremere Fledgeling as well, who the Tzimisce are noted to hate en masse.
    • If a Nosferatu expresses distaste on how they look and asks Andrei if they can do something about it, Andrei tells them that it is a blessing from Caine rather than a curse. That and he warns the changes would just revert by the next day and it would be no less painful than the first time.
  • Relationship Values: Depending on how much you speak to him or how you talk to him, you can get to know him better and earn his trust, which is a lot more than what you can do with LaCroix. If you have enough points, you can convince him not to open up the Sarcophagus and just burn it.
  • The Social Darwinist: Comes with being the Sabbat Archibishop. He does also display some disgust for Victoria's ethnicity, but follows it up by her qualities as a person outdoing them.
  • Telepathy: As a Tzimisce, Auspex is a clan discipline. It's noted more than once that he's using it on you, in particular being aware of your distaste for LaCroix by the time you meet him.
  • That One Boss: Oooooh boy! If you're at the end game and use the Rite of Monomacy on him, you're in for a ride! Essentially, the Rite of Monomacy is invoked when two Sabbat Kindred don't see eye to eye. It usually goes as a fight to the death, with the one who was challenged being able to set the terms of the fight. Andrei sets the terms that you both are limited to your disciplines and fists..to which he molds himself into his Zulo Form with Fortitude maxed out, and dealing ridiculous aggravated damage and taking very little. You WILL need to make use of anything to reduce damage, be it Fortitude, Protean, Thaumaturgy, Presence, etc, if you want to survive. Especially if you made use of Diablerie to increase your ratings in those skills or gain new disciplines. And even THEN he's still tough!
  • The Unfought: If you infiltrate the Sabbat, Andrei disappears from the story after Hazel and Victoria are dead.
  • You Are a Credit to Your Race: After talking about the Tremere with Andrei, if you're playing as a Tremere Fledgling and point out that he's talking about your clan, he notes that you were embraced outside of the Pyramid and thus can do or learn more than one inside of it can. He does however note that his clan's history is tainted, and trust will not come easily to you from the Sabbat or from him.
One of the Ducti within East LA, who is notably new to the area. Hazel Tomes is a Malkavian Priest who gathers the lower classes of the area as part of his herd, and who believes he has a higher calling he must follow at all costs.
  • A God Am I: Though he never explicitly says it, he does uses church themes and his congregation come to worship him more than anyone else, and he is clearly a huge megalomaniac.
  • Ax-Crazy: Being a Malkavian Antitribu, it comes with the territory. He's noted to have made one of the congregation members who went back to doing drugs begin cutting open his own arms before draining him dead.
  • Break the Cutie: Apparently Bishop Vick was once Hazel's Childe. His creation rites involved locking him in a slaughterhouse with a meat cleaver and a room full of 'non-believers'. Needless to say, this broke Vick.
  • The Cuckoolander Was Right: There are certain things he says that do point to the truth. For example, he declares that Victoria is a 'heartless monster'. Other dialogue with Victoria confirms that she has removed her heart and buried it elsewhere, as Serpentis's 'Heart of Darkness' power can do that.
  • Dark Messiah: He truly wants to elevate himself and his congregation to greatness, and wants to paint the world in his mad delusions of salvation.
  • Fully-Embraced Fiend: He sees Humanity as a weakness in Vampires, and chides you if you act too human. He also tries breaking it out of his childer, and was quite a bit too rough with Bishop Vick. He tries to be a bit more gentle about it with Ariana.
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: After The Reveal where LaCroix has been manipulating you since you entered the Sabbat, he says you should be grateful for even coming to get you. If the Fledgeling asks why they bothered, it's because the Vaulderie is literally compelling him to save you anyhow, despite his personal thoughts on the matter.
  • I Love You, Vampire Son: Averted. He's disgusted by his failure with Vick and is happy to hear he's dead.
  • Manipulative Bastard: His plans against Victoria. He gets you to deface Jesse's murals, then give Arturo a briefcase of aztec gold and say it was a peace offering from Victoria in exchange for Ariana's life. Then he embraces Ariana to be his childe, then reveal to Victoria that Arturo conveniently has her missing gold coins that were stolen from her safe earlier and to settle it all at the congregation. When everyone gets there, Victoria is absolutely pissed that Ariana has been embraced, Arturo is pissed off at Victoria and going against her, and Jesse is pissed at everyone there and wants to kill them all with the only real force still there being Hazel's Pack.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian Fledgeling refers to him as 'The Father of Lies'. While he serves as a Priest, he does not do so for Christianity, and instead only serves himself.
    • Arturo refers to him as 'The Loco Preacher'. It's pretty fitting.
  • Sinister Minister: He is the priest of his own church, and is content to spread fear and devotion to God to himself.
One of the Ducti within East LA, who has been there for awhile. Victoria is a Setite Antitribu, known as the Serpents of the Light. She controls various gangs such as the Latin Kings, and hooks people by vice and drugs to her cause, no matter what it may be.
  • Affably Evil: Despite being manipulative and corruptive, she does genuinely care about her pack and will teach you things about the Sabbat, including various rites and people to know about. She does retain an affable demeanor as well.
    • She applauds you if you use the Rite of Monomacy against Andrei, saying you aren't manipulated by the temptation of the ancients. This gets subverted if you choose to tell her that you're ultimately doing it to have the Antediluvian for yourself.
  • The Baroness: Definitely so. She spends her first scenes you meet her emphasizing that you are beneath her and will do what she says, no questions asked. She later delves into Reasonable Authority Figure, at least as much as one can be in the Sabbat. She does lace loads of death threats into her conversations if you pry into things you shouldn't be worrying about, at least to her standards.
  • Berserk Button: Whatever you do, do not question Ariana's importance to her. It's none of your concern. Especially as Ariana is her granddaughter.
    • She also takes her devotion to Xiucoatl very seriously, and dislikes Malkavians bringing up information to things they do not understand. Bringing up the Yama Kings to Ming? Funny. Bringing up whether Victoria is worthy of Xiucoatl? Death threats.
  • The Corrupter: Befitting her clan, she does partake in corrupting people and getting them hooked to vices. Arturo who is her grandson is no exception, as she introduces him to the power high that is Diablerie.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Her reaction if you use the Rite of Monomacy to kill Andrei, only to try taking the power of the antediluvian for yourself.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: She is still attached to her mortal granddaughter, Ariana, and is somewhat attached to Arturo despite not considering him worthy of being in her family. She goes absolutely livid if you side with Hazel and Ariana becomes a vampire.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: She despises the Giovanni for tampering with ghosts and dead souls.
  • Gratuitous Spanish: A good portion of her dialogue is littered with spanish intermingling with english.
  • Lady of War: She can join you on additional missions if you side with her.
  • Manipulative Bitch: Comes with being a Setite, and not even being Antitribu makes her immune.
    • For starters, she works using the drug trade to make people addicted and keep money flowing to her.
    • She suggests a game to help you get better acquainted with her pack called 'Grand Theft Auto', where you have to kill as many policemen and civilians as possible and end the game by going to the Laundromat. She uses your willingness to please the Sabbat to lead the police to Arturo, which also gives him a Secret Test of Character. Since you've both succeeded, she also uses the occasion to show you that not all Sabbat are raving monsters or shovelheads as well.
    • Her plan against Hazel Tomes. Use his congregation's drug addiction against them, giving them free needles of drugs that are also laced with tuberculosis, hepatitis and worse. This makes him look like a plaguebearer while also limiting the people he can feed on, which Victoria can use to rouse a hunting party to go in and fully kill him.
    • If you side with her, when Arturo becomes a vampire, she also introduces him to Diablerie, as well as it's addictive nature. He gets hooked, getting stronger while also losing his humanity. Victoria says that this serves two purposes: either he'll learn to shackle his desires or he'll fall further and further to the Beast. It's likely that in the second case, she'd introduce him to alternate paths of enlightenment.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian Fledgeling refers to her as 'The Serpent Queen'. She is a Setite Antitribu, and she seeks to become the Bishop of East LA.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Though she has shades of The Corrupter and The Baroness, she also is this for the Sabbat. She denotes that she needs proof or evidence of problems from the Fledgeling, and takes betrayals of the Sabbat's trust with all due gravitas. She also believes the Fledgeling when they say they were dominated by LaCroix as a sleeper agent.
  • Secret Test of Character: Your game of 'Grand Theft Auto' in her pack is one. Not for you, but for Arturo. It was to see if he would remain loyal and try to keep the police away or try to save himself and let everyone else take the heat. Since he did the former, Victoria saw him as worthy of her blood, and makes him into her Childe.
  • Slave to PR: When asked after raiding the Mack's place why she didn't do this sooner to save Ariana, she essentially says that 'being a proud Sabbat soldier with an attachment to a human doesn't mix well'.
  • Undying Loyalty: To the Sabbat as a whole. She truly believes that the Sabbat should destroy the Antediluvians, and works towards this goal with passionate fervor.
A Lasombra within East LA, who is part of a nomadic pack who got decimated within San Francisco. He offers his services, namely easy feedings from blood dolls, to the Sabbat of East LA.
  • 0% Approval Rating: Nobody really cares about him or sees anything positive about him save for his services. Even the fanbase who know of him in the mod hate him for his backwards treatment of women.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He comes off as polite and respectable businessman..except that said business is prostitution and his thoughts on women are pretty much the same as people at the time of the 1920s.
  • Casting a Shadow: Has Obtenebration 6 at minimum. He uses it to teleport in your way if you try getting to the girls without having paid at first. He also uses Arms of the Abyss if you sided with the Sabbat and fight him.
  • Compelling Voice: Uses Dominate frequently to make his girls compliant and unwilling to go against him, while 'turning them into the whores they always were'.
  • Fatal Flaw: His Greed. He only loves money, and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Even if that means backstabbing both of the local packs by threatening their power (stealing their drugs and/or trying to remove the church), or backstabbing the Sabbat by acting as a gofer for the the Sarcophagus transaction.
  • Greed: He's only really interested in turning a buck, and does so with his prostitutes.
  • He-Man Woman Hater: He sees women as disposable assets, and the only thing they're good for is being whores.
  • If You're So Evil, Eat This Kitten: If you join the Sabbat, he'll hand over Ariana if you rescue Barabus from the Kuei-Jin. If you've infiltrated the Sabbat, that quest will already be done, so he'll only hand over Ariana if you sell him another Hispanic woman to replace her.
  • Karma Houdini: If you infiltrate the Sabbat, he will leave at the conclusion of the bout, meaning he doesn't pay for anything he's done.
  • Karmic Death: If you joined the Sabbat from Kings Way, when confronted by either Hazel or Victoria for his misdeeds against them (trying to get the church removed and stealing the drugs respectively), his death qualifies. For one, he's killed by a woman (Victoria or Ariana). It becomes doubly so if Ariana is with you, as she was abused by the Mack. It equally qualifies if you side with Victoria, who embraces Arturo, as it's basically Ariana's grandmother and brother fighting against the man who pimped her out.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian refers to him as 'The Lone Sleeper'. It refers to how his pack has gotten decimated in California.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: If you side with the Camarilla and infiltrate the Sabbat, and manage to take them out, he will not be at his place anymore.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines Classes Near Me

A Lasombra who appears in the Ventrue Clan Quest, who offers his services in dealing with the Prince's request. The
  • Casting a Shadow: As a Lasombra, he has Obtenebration. He uses it to teleport via Shadowstep.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: He offers a way to get rid of the Assamite Antitribu, as he is collaborating with the Camarilla and thus should be killed. He also tries betraying you, because he wants the Antediluvian to himself.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Comes with being a Lasombra. He comes to the Ventrue Fledgeling and offers a way to kill Adithia and fulfill LaCroix's request at the same time. He also does this to get close to you so he can kill you, and asks if you really thought the Sabbat would accept you.
  • Skippable Boss: If the Ventrue Clan Quest is done, and the player invades the Hallowbrook Hotel, Lorenzo appears on the first floor to offer a way out of the entire level by getting the Sabbat to lay low. If the Ventrue Clan Quest isn't done (which player characters from other clans can't do in the first place), Lorenzo merely attacks upon sighting you, and gets killed along with the rest of the Sabbat mooks.

Independents

A character added in when the Sabbat were added in, Jesse is a Gangrel who is currently underneath LaCroix's thumb due to a Noodle Incident involving the Sabbat. He can be found loitering about in East LA, and he serves as your advisor if you make it to East LA.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Siding with Victoria has her want you to kill Jesse and bring back some part of him as a trophy, namely his arm. If you're with the Sabbat, you kill him for real. If you're infiltrating and don't want to kill him, you lop off his arm instead. It's a good thing vampires can regenerate lost limbs.
  • Animal Eyes: Has golden eyes as part of his curse.
  • The Beast Master: Being a Gangrel, he has access to Animalism. He has more than a few dogs he takes care of and loves.
  • Berserk Button: Messing up his art or killing his dogs are his. If you side with Hazel, he wants you to deface Jesse's murals around town and kill the dogs guarding them for good measure to make him come to the chapel all pissed off. You can avert this by asking Jesse about it, having him lay low, then lying to Hazel about ruining the murals.
    • He doesn't take kindly to being yanked on a chain, and will tell the Fledgeling off if they try to assume LaCroix's authority on them.
  • Big Damn Heroes: If you've infiltrated the Sabbat and haven't pissed him off (destroy his artwork or kill him), he'll come to your rescue at the church confrontation.
  • Birds of a Feather: Non-romantic, but the reason why he does as much as he does for the Fledgeling is because the Fledgeling's situation reminds him of his own. They're both at LaCroix's beck and call and cannot leave until the debt is 'settled'.
  • The Hedonist: Indulges in art, skateboarding, pot and sex. It was the last bit with a Toreador Antitribu that got him in trouble with the Camarilla.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: While not exactly a hero (granted, he's perhaps the only Vampire, excluding the Thinbloods, who does not try to actively screw you over in any way), he does have several dogs that he loves.
  • Hidden Depths: For all his hedonistic tendencies, he bemoans the Not So Different nature the Sabbat, Camarilla and Anarchs share with each other and believes it's better to make your own way through unlife by being independent.
  • Lazy Bum: LaCroix has Jesse keeping an eye on Sabbat territory, but Jesse himself is only doing the bare minimum to get by and spends his time on his artwork instead.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian refers to him as 'The Greased Stoner'.
  • The Mentor: Serves as one to the Fledgeling of how to act in the Sabbat side of town.
  • Mr. Exposition: He gives you information on the power players in East LA.
  • Pet the Dog: Has several moments.
    • Gives aid to the Fledgeling in Sabbat politics and how to get into the people's good graces, even if you've betrayed the Camarilla.
    • Clearly loves his dogs and goes mad if any of them are hurt.
    • Will come to the Fledgeling's aid when the climax at the Cathedral goes down, provided you didn't screw him over. He even gives the advice that playing the politics will just end up hurting you and wishes you well as he leaves.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Played for laughs. If you go on Victoria's side and are infiltrating the Sabbat and you say you need to bring something back to her for this to work, Jesse notes that he's not giving you his skull and a tuft of hair probably won't cut it. The Fledgeling picks up on the word 'Cut it' and decides to lop off Jesse's arm. Good thing that vampires can regenerate lost limbs.

Kuei-Jin

After meeting up with Ming Xiao in Chinatown, a new NPC appears around where the cab is and asks if you want to go out for a night on the town. It soon turns out that this woman, Kalliyan, is actually a Kuei-Jin, but she's willing to hang out with a Kindred just to see how they're like. Her quest is known as 'The Dance of the Thrashing Dragon'.
  • The Atoner: Most Kuei-Jin adhere to a Dharma, mainly as a way to atone for their past life's mistakes. Kalliyan is no exception, and is doing it through living her life to the fullest and experiencing what she never was able to.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: As it turns out, Kalliyan was originally a young man named Kai. Kalliyan was his girlfriend, and they would go out and have a ball during university. Having sex, drugs, the whole schpiel. They eventually got drugs from someone who wasn't their usual guy, and they both died after shooting up. Later on, days after eating his own corpse, Kai realized he was in the body of Kalliyan and was a flesh-eating Chin-mei.
  • Deadpan Snarker: A good portion of her dialogue is filled with snarkiness, such as commenting how Chi tastes like 'soy sauce, but without the salt', or fucking with the player character in general.
  • The Hedonist: Her Dharma is the 'Dance of the Thrashing Dragon', which emphasizes living your life to the fullest of what you didn't experience the first time around.
  • I Am A Humanitarian: As with all Kuei-Jin, Kalliyan started off as a Chin-mei, a barely sapient and recently returned Kuei-Jin who can only get chi from eating human flesh.
  • Karmic Nod: In a way, Kalliyan accepts how and why he was brought back in the flesh of the person who lead his soul astray.
  • Loophole Abuse: The reason she's going out with a Kindred, despite the fact that Kuei-Jin and Kindred are at war at the time, is due to Ming Xiao violating what the Kuei-Jin call 'The Mandate of Hell'. As Kalliyan explains..
Kalliyan: If an elder.. that's Ming Xiao, proves to be a corrupt bitch, which she has, then basically I don't have to do what she says anymore! In this case, it's this under the table deal she's been cutting with the enemy: that's you. If she can play politics with the westerners, then surely I can afford a night of dancing with your kind!
  • Ms. Exposition: She essentially reveals a good portion of details that make up the Kindred of the East gameline for Vampire The Masquerade.
  • Unsettling Gender Reveal: If the night goes on well enough, Kalliyan reveals her true story that she was actually a man named Kai, but due to circumstances his soul now inhabits the body of Kalliyan, who was Kai's girlfriend. The player character can play the trope straight by reacting with revulsion to this revelation, or subvert it by being completely cool with it.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines Clan Skills

Humans

A mortal who has been running the longest with the Latin Kings, and is pretty much beneath Victoria in terms of power. He is also Ariana's brother, and wants to keep her from harm. He's also Victoria's grandson.
  • Abusive Parents: His and Ariana's mother was a drunk who was casually abused by their father. Arturo chased off the father when old enough.
  • And Then John Was a Zombie: If you join with Victoria, she embraces him to become a vampire.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He does care about Ariana and doesn't want her into the gang business. When Hazel's plot gets him to believe that Victoria is letting Ariana die, he absolutely loses his shit.
  • From Camouflage to Criminal: He was once in the US Marines, then spent more than a decade in a street gang.
  • Gratuitous Spanish: A good portion of his dialogue is littered with spanish intermingling with english.
  • Horror Hunger: Victoria gets him addicted to Diablerie, which forms into this as he gets to itching and craving for another taste.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian refers to him as 'The Venom Prince'. This seems to refer to how he's within the drug trade and is the highest human in it. It also hints at his relationship to Victoria, who is 'The Serpent Queen' and is his grandmother.
  • Promoted to Parent: When their mother passed away, he pretty much became the parent of the household.
  • Secret Test of Character: He's put into two of these by Victoria.
    • The first is the 'Grand Theft Auto' game she pulls onto the Fledgeling. They were meant to stir up trouble, then run to the Laundromat where Arturo is. Since the Laundromat is the base of operations for the drug running, Arturo goes off to get the cops chasing him in hopes that the others won't get caught. This shows Victoria proof of his Undying Loyalty and she decides he is worthy of the Embrace.
    • The second is getting Arturo hooked to Diablerie. She reasons it as a lesson in teaching him about his desires and how he should shackle them lest they control him. She says that even if he falls to the beast, she will still guide him, most likely to teach him one of the paths of enlightenment.
  • Seen It All: As a gangster, he's seen plenty of people dying, arrested and locked away. He's also vaguely aware that vampires do exist.
  • Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: Has this opinion on Ariana, believing her to be too idealistic for her own good.
  • Sunk Cost Fallacy: When asked if he ever thought of walking out of the Latin Kings, his response is that he's basically been in it for 15 years and has put in too much to walk out of it now.
  • The Hedonist: Becomes one when he becomes a Vampire. He grows to love the idea of killing people, setting cars on fire and whatnot. This also details how he's losing his humanity.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards the Latin Kings.
A mortal teenager who Victoria tasks you with retrieving from The Mack for reasons she refuses to specify. She is Arturo's brother, who she loves but sees as overbearing. Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines ClassesShe is also Victoria's granddaughter.
  • Abusive Parents: Her and Arturo's mother was a drunk who was casually abused by their father. Arturo chased off the father when old enough.
  • Ambiguous Disorder: As a Malkavian, her madness becomes a bit..uncertain. She rationalizes her vampirism (staying up at night, drinking blood and partaking in Sabbat rituals) as 'being a night owl who sometimes drinks wine and goes to parties'. She later devolves into bouts of anger and depression, seemingly pointing towards bipolar disorder.
  • And Then John Was a Zombie: She becomes a Malkavian vampire if you side with Hazel Tomes.
  • Break the Cutie: If you side with Hazel, she goes from a relatively idealistic young girl to a Malkavian Vampire in the Sabbat. It only gets worse from there, given Hazel's distaste with humanity.
  • Cain and Abel: Only in Hazel's scenario will she try to kill Arturo. Somewhat subverted in that, as a Malkavian, she's now kind of crazy and only believes her brother went to sleep for a nap rather than actually be dead.
  • The Cuckoolander Was Right: When you're going to get the Sarcophagus from the Giovanni and she's a vampire, she will rant about thieves taking away everything that hard work gets people. It's right after the Giovanni mission that you find yourself at LaCroix's office where he basically steals away all your hard work.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Though very crazy, she hates hearing the idea of killing Johansen and refers to what's going on as 'a dream she can't wave up from'.
  • Meaningful Name: The Malkavian refers to her as 'El Corazon De Cobra', which translates to 'The Heart of the Cobra'. It seems to imply how she's a good person despite living on the Sabbat side of the town. It also implies her relationship to Victoria, as Victoria is 'The Serpent Queen' and definitely has a soft spot for Ariana.
  • Tragic Dropout: Because of The Mack's treatment of her, she's missed out on school so much that they've kicked her out. She's also lost all her friends because of this too.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: She is one, believing that life in the slums can get better if people just try to help clean up the place. She's also interested in trying to better her community. This gets slowly broken out of her if you side with Hazel.
