Mod Types[edit]
There are two main mod types that you can equip:
It seems that Armor Mods are currently far more versatile in the scope of their effectiveness that Weapon Mods, in that they can have effects on your ability refresh rate, weapon damage & handling, while Weapon Mods seem to only alter the type of elemental damage you can do with each weapon.

Armor mods can have a number of different bonuses attached to them and are randomly assigned to a specific piece of armor (i.e. legs, chest, helmet, etc).
Mod Effects[edit]
The effects of each mod can vary, based on the type of weapon it affects or what elemental subclass it can be applied to. The basic function of each mods are:
- Absorption Mod
Increases armor resilience, allowing players to absorb more damage. - Bracket Mod
Increases the handling for that designated weapon type. - Counterbalance Mod
Reduces recoil for the designated weapon type. - Damage Mod
Equip to to change its rounds to the specified damage type. - Impact Mod
Designated subclass melee abilities recharge faster. - Munition Loader
Improves reload speed for the designated weapon type. - Ordinance Mod
Grenades recharge faster when using the designated subclass. - Paragon Mod
Class abilities recharge faster when using the designated subclass.
